Sarix songMASTER™ 5.01 - display manager for community singing and visual announcements

To download and install the songMASTER™ 5.01 software (Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP compatible) including a sample of Vision One Inc. songs (see Notes 2 & 3 below for obtaining the current song database), perform the following steps:

1. Download songMASTER™ 5.01 by clicking --> songMASTER™ 5.01 download (6.3MB)

2. After download run the file smst501.exe. This is a self-extracting program that will extract the songMASTER™ 5.01 setup components into a folder you select.

3. Go to the folder you extracted to, run the setup file "setup.exe" and follow the prompts.

Note 1: For any installation issues please read section 3 in the readme.txt file.

Note 2: During setup two databases are installed: songMASTER.mdb (contains sample Vision One songs) and songMASTERBlank (empty database for you to create your own content). The songMASTER program defaults to use songMASTER.mdb but you can change this after installation by <File><Open> and selecting another songMASTER database)

Note 3: If you need to recover either of the two songMASTER databases, or simply wish to download the most recent database containing Vision One songs, you can download current versions of songMASTER.mdb and songMASTERBlank.mdb.

To download the songMASTER database containing current core songs (now up to song #225) plus a copy of the empty database click here (180KB). After download run the file smstdb.exe. This is a self-extracting program that will extract the two databases into a folder you select. You can then either simply point songMASTER to use the new database (using the songMASTER <File><Open> menu), or perform a core update which also ensures you retain non-core songs - see the songMASTER Help menu after installation regarding core updates.

Note 4: songMASTER uses various fonts which may not be installed on all machines. If after installation of songMASTER the text on buttons etc is unclear, you can download and install these fonts.

To download required fonts, click here (900KB). After download run the file smstsup1.exe. This is a self-extracting program that will extract the fonts into a folder you select. Then follow the instructions described here.
